Unbound is more than a readathon—it's a chance to change lives. For students in secure facilities, books offer an escape, a spark of imagination, and a connection to something bigger. Your support ensures they have access to stories that engage, inspire, and empower. With your help, we can send book bundles to 50 juvenile detention facilities, creating opportunities for students to develop a love of reading and discover the transformative power of stories.

Approximately 200,000 young people will spend a night behind bars this year. They are some of our nation’s most vulnerable and oft-shunned youth. BreakFree Education helps to ensure they get the education they need and deserve.
